A Mexican Pirate named Daniel Boone?

Halloween was literally a week-long event this year!  Classroom parties, trick-or-treating at the hospital, Halloween weekend camping--decorating our cabin, painting pumpkins, and more trick-or-treating--and let's not forget the actual holiday and the hundreds of kids in our neighborhood.  Phew!  It only made sense to have some costume variety.

The highlight of our weekend was meeting the newest munchkin in the bunch 'Baby Dean', Lorie and Dan's perfectly happy, handsome, hungry little boy.  They joined us in Luray, VA with Dan, Michelle, kids, and their neighborhood friends.  Amidst the spooky spectacle, we carved out some time to visit Luray Caverns, help Aaron catch his first fish, jump on big pillowy things, 'mine' for gems, and drive Skyline Drive in Shenendoah National Park.
