The Sims and Johnson's headed to Atlanta last weekend to visit the Webb's! Aaron's first plane ride was a lot of fun! He ate, slept, flirted with the stewardess, and loved peaking at the people behind us. Sadly, no Aaron/pilot photo to remember his first flight (I was planning to take one on the flight home*).
This was our first time meeting Mr. Carter...the strapping two month old you'll see in the photos. After a high five and chest bump, Carter and Aaron were well acquainted. Aaron broke in (or perhaps literally broke) Carter's jumperoo and christened his high chair with sweet potatoes. Carter is laid back, smiley, and likes his swing on turbo speed! :) We had an absolutely amazing time at the Georgia Aquarium; the worlds largest aquarium, who knew! It was so fun to see Aaron's wide-eyed reactions. Our favorites; the whale sharks and sea otters (adorable youtube video I was telling you about Jackie).
We also visited the school where Jackie teaches; complete with a petting zoo of chicks, bunnies, sheep, and ponies. Aaron (and his Mom) wishes that school was in Chantilly, VA! And finally, for a good time See: beer/wine + Battle of the Sexes board game. Serious laughs gang!
*The adventure continued Sunday-Monday. Our flights were cancelled and the five of us drove home to Virginia/Philly only to be sidelined by the nasty storm. Thank goodness for good friends, beef jerky, RockStar, parking lot donuts, an incredibly patient 7 month old, and trashy gossip magazines.
